Rib Festivals have been around for 24 years pairing the best ribs with great entertainment.

Over the years, these festivals have evolved to include pulled pork, barbecued chicken, and other related delicacies, too.

Look for these great Rib Festivals this August and September: 

 

Cambridge Ribfest

Riverside Park, August 9th to 11th, 2019

This year's Ribfest will host 12 amazing musicians, a marketplace full of local vendors, inflatables for the kids, and plenty of ribs! You'll also find beverage trucks, corn roasters, and a variety of dessert trucks. 

 

Ribs Rhythm & Rotary in Guelph 

Riverside Park, August 23rd to 25th, 2019

Savour amazing ribs from the best travelling Ribbers along with some amazing blooming onions, fried potatoes, hot dogs, hamburgers, and more! Enjoy live entertainment, kids face painting and rock climbing, a classic car show, and midway rides. Admission is free, though midway rides require tickets. 

 

Toronto Rib Bacon and BBQ Fest

Downsview Park, August 30th to September 2nd

Satisfy your rib and bacon cravings at Downsview Park this Labour Day weekend. The festival includes live entertainment, strolling entertainers, celebrity chef demonstrations, a rock climbing wall, inflatables, a midway for the little ones, and face painting. Tickets are $8 for adults, and children 12 and under enter for free. 

 

Canada's Largest Ribfest, Burlington

Spencer Smith Park, August 30th to September 2nd

This is the one that started it all! Burlington's Ribfest is Canada's first and largest Ribfest and hosts over 15 of the best rib teams, over 30 great musicians, and plenty of beverage and dessert food trucks. This family-friendly festival organized by the Burlington Lakeshore Rotary Club donates all funds generated to support the local community. 

 

Waterloo Rib and Craft Beer Festival

Waterloo Park, September 6th to 8th, 2019

Northern Heat Rib Series presents a festival of great food, family fun, and amazing entertainment. There are plenty of attractions for both children and adults with 26 vendors, 15 craft beer tents, and 10 live bands.

 

Tillsonburg Ribfest

Tillsonburg Fairgrounds, September 27th to 29th, 2019

Celebrate the 5th annual Tillsonburg Ribfest this September with amazing ribs, food trucks, local vendors, a beer tent, live entertainment, and a kid's zone. Funds raised during this event will support the Tillsonburg Thunder Senior Hockey Club.
