Kitchener is full of fun winter adventures, but none are quite as exciting as Chicopee Tube Park.
Here you can slip and slide down a snowy hill on an inner tube for the ultimate sledding adventure. Fun for the whole family, the Chicopee Tube Park is a wintertime must!
The mountain here is 250 feet high with six snowy lanes across its massive 900 foot slope, making it a perfect drop for tubing fun. For your convenience, there's a magic carpet that will carry you back to the top of the hill, so you won't have to trek back up. There's no skill required, so everyone can enjoy this winter pastime. However, children must be 4 years old and at least 42 inches tall to participate.
Warm up during your tubing adventure at the Lodge and Public Hall. The beautiful log chalet is a 9,500 square foot lodge with a 2,500 square foot outdoor deck. The Chalet Café offers a variety of hot food, beverages, and snacks. This is also the perfect place for parties and company gatherings.
Chicopee Tube Park isn't just for winter fun. When the snow and ice melt away, the park transforms into a summer adventure park with five thrilling activities to enjoy. All adventures are suitable for adults and children; however, children must fulfill age, height, and weight requirements to ride.
Soar down the 80-metre or 300-meter zip lines, try Eurobungy, the extreme trampoline activity, climb the Spider Web climbing tower, balance with the Horizontal ropes, or slip and slide with waterless tubing. All activities are walk-in friendly, though it is recommended that you book your zip line times in advance.
Chicopee Tube Park is currently open Wednesdays to Sundays and is a fun place for a party or company event. Inclement weather will affect the park hours, so it's a good idea to call the park or check their Facebook page for updates before heading out.
The best part of Chicopee Tube Park is its location. Our Morgan Avenue residents live across the road from the park and can either walk over or take the 2 minute drive.
