Best Natural Feature: Two natural harbours
Located off the shoreline of Lake Ontario, Oakville features two harbours. Bronte Village and waterfront is a go to destination for tourists and residents alike. Notable features include Bronte Harbour Yacht Club, Metro Marine Facilities, Oakville Sailing Club, and Fisherman's Wharf. The old lighthouse at the Oakville Harbour, has been moved to the grounds of the Oakville Yacht Squadron to be preserved as part of the city's history. Residents and tourists can visit this lighthouse year-round free of charge.
