Lyons Valley Park, Oakville
Along Sixteen Mile Creek, this park is one of the best places in Oakville to enjoy the autumn colours. You'll find hiking trails, picnic tables and pavilions, and quiet spots to enjoy your surroundings. There's a parking lot at the end of Old Upper Middle Road, about five minutes from our Lynnwood and Whiteoaks apartments.
Riverwood Park, Mississauga
This 150 acre park along the Credit River is painted in rich colours in the fall. With trails to hike, meadows and wetlands to enjoy, and wildlife to observe, Riverwood Park has plenty to see. The Riverwood Conservancy, located at the park, is a wonderful volunteer organization offering year round programs. This park is approximately 15 minutes from our Lolita Gardens and Battleford Road apartments.
Kerncliff Park, Burlington
Nestled in the Niagara Escarpment, Kerncliff Park is full of big, beautiful trees with leaves that are transforming with magnificent colours. Hike through the trails in the forested areas and alongside natural stone walls, or venture out on the bridge over the marsh. Our Elgin Street apartments are just 15 minutes from this natural wonder.
The Arboretum at the University of Guelph, Guelph
This 400 acre parkland of gardens, green space, and natural woodlands is free to the public. Soak up the rich fall colours as you hike or walk through the vast trails, geocache, play disc golf, or admire the natural wildlife. Open year round, the Arboretum is just 10 minutes from our Bristol Street apartments.
Crothers Woods, East York
Nestled along the Don River, this wooded parkland is sheltered from the busy city and exploding with vivid colours. You'll find nature trails winding through the trees and along the bank of the Don River, offering plenty of opportunities to see the vibrance of autumn. Parking is available behind Loblaws, just five minutes from our Milepost and Thorncliffe Park apartments.
